In the lead-up to World Sleep Day 2024 we asked our supporters to rate four top tips for a good night’s sleep. The results are in!
- 82% of respondents advise doing something relaxing, like reading a book
- 41% think it’s best to avoid caffeine before bedtime
- 29% of respondents say it helps to get plenty of fresh air during the daytime
- 12% like to take a warm shower or bath
We also received some wonderful new ideas for getting a more restful night.
Your top tips for a good night’s sleep
The children we support often need some extra help creating the right environment for a restful night. That is why we’ve worked with a child psychotherapist to develop special sleep packs to help separated children recover from their traumatic journeys.
You can find out more about our sleep packs here.
