How to help without it hurting!
An advantage to us and no disadvantage to you!
If you shop online at any time, you can help The Separated Child Foundation enormously. Easyfundraising does what it says on the tin: it raises funds for us and it really is easy! What’s more, it doesn’t cost you a penny to shop that way… well, apart from paying for what you’ve bought!
The donations come from the companies you buy from, most of them donating 2-3% of the purchase price but some a bit less and some a bit more; a few give a flat rate rather than a percentage. There are hundreds of companies in the scheme, including Amazon, Boots, British Airways, eBay, Expedia, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, NEXT, Vodafone, W. H. Smith and many more.
It’s as easy as one-two-three:
One
Begin by registering at www.easyfundraising.org.uk giving a username and password. For the ’cause’ choose The Separated Child Foundation, which is listed alphabetically under ‘T’.
Two
From www.easyfundraising.org.uk you can shop straight away, if you wish, by choosing a retailer from the list given and then purchasing goods in the normal online way. There’s no limit to the amount you spend or the number of companies you buy from. The percentage quoted by the retailer is allocated to The Separated Child Foundation’s easyfundraising account and you don’t have to do any more. Easyfundraising also keeps a tally for you (and only you) of the money you earned for The Separated Child Foundation.
Three
In the future, when you want to buy something online, simply return to www.easyfundraising.org.uk, sign in with your username and password, and then shop away!
